Tender Loving Care
Heather has been at Mullens’ since 2001. She is an invaluable staff member who performs her work happily and diligently. Her duties include housecleaning, dusting, stamping brochures, sorting the recycle bins, organizing our pet bandanna collection, labeling the Pets Magazines and cleaning windows. She loves helping to recover our patients from anesthesia/surgery and sings ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to them. The patients stay calm and comforted with her. Heather meets and greets our clients with a warm and friendly smile. She is very popular staff member with a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh. She brightens our day whenever she is here.
Heather helps us with the Hanover Pet Fair and keeps busy with other jobs/activities and volunteering in the community. She has won many awards with the Special Olympics and retired from speed skating in 2012. She goes to the gym regularly and loves to listen to music especially Shania Twain. She is very social and has many friends in our community. Heather retired in May of 2023 after 25 years of punctual and loving work at the clinic.
