Daniela

Daniela graduated from Ridgetown College in 2000.  After working for a few months in Exeter, she found a position at Mullen Small Animal Clinic and has been working here since then.

Daniela lives in Cargill with her husband Kelly, daughter Kaitlyn and 4 cats.  All of the cats are domestic shorthairs.  The oldest Shyla, is a gray and white spayed female.  She was relinquished to MSAC in 2019.  She is a little overweight and has had 2 dental surgeries to have some painful teeth removed.  Otherwise she is a very content senior who insists on sleeping on Daniela’s pillow!  Tuffnut was a rescue from MSAC in 2022.  He belongs to Kaitlyn.  He is a large, neutered gray tabby.  Tuffnut loves to go for car rides and enjoys spending time with the new kittens that were recently added to the household.  Louie (an orange and white male) and Jupiter (a female tortoiseshell), were welcomed into the family in 2024 after the loss of Garfield (beloved companion of 5+ years).  As expected, the kittens are extremely playful and excellent at putting a smile on anyone’s face.  They are frequent visitors at the clinic and with family and friends.

As well as being a great all around tech, Daniela enjoys anesthesia, performing dental cleanings, assisting with surgery & helping clients cope with pet loss.

In her spare time, Daniela enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and canoeing on the Saugeen river.

Animals have always been a part of her life.
